I am a Registered Nurse and Case Manager with special training in foot care. I am certified through the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board. My background consists of hospital bedside nursing, home health, memory care, and managed long-term care. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where I trained under a foot care specialist to obtain my CFCN, or Certified Foot Care Nurse Certificate. There, I volunteered my services in a community clinic where we served over 600 patients. My approach to health care is focused largely on avoiding hospitalizations and reducing costs by promoting wellness in the home.
